Nneka Nwaokeafor

Nneka Ebele Nwaokeafor is a seasoned educator, educational consultant, researcher, and advocate for inclusive education with over two decades of experience across early childhood, elementary, and secondary education. Her professional experience spans classroom teaching, special education, curriculum development, school leadership, teacher professional development, and educational consulting. She is particularly passionate about creating learning environments where children of diverse abilities are valued, supported, and provided with meaningful opportunities to thrive.

 

Nneka is a Board-Certified Cognitive Specialist with extensive experience supporting individuals with diverse cognitive and learning needs, including autism, dyslexia, ADHD, and other learning disabilities. Her work is grounded in a strength-based and inclusive approach that recognizes the individuality and potential of every learner.

She holds a Master of Education in Early Childhood Education from the University of Lagos, a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from the University of Nottingham, a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from Lagos State University, a Diploma in Montessori Education from the North American Montessori Center, and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. She is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Teaching, Leadership, and Professional Practice at the University of North Dakota, USA, with scholarly interests in inclusive and special education, learning disabilities, literacy, teacher development, and educational leadership.

 

In 2020, Nneka founded Impart Maven Limited, an educational consulting organization focused on teacher training and professional development, curriculum development, educational consultation, and support for learners with diverse needs.

Across her work as an educator, consultant, researcher, and advocate, Nneka is committed to strengthening collaboration among educators, families, schools, and communities. She believes that meaningful inclusion goes beyond access, it requires belonging, participation, high expectations, and opportunities for every learner to develop their strengths and reach their potential.
